The DA’s office said in 1997, Nall went on a crime spree during which he murdered a man in Riverside County by shooting him three times in the head and burning his body in a stolen car. This hearing was Nall’s first parole hearing. The DA’s office said 46-year-old Matthew Nall was convicted of murder and attempted murder of a peace officer among other crimes.
